    Obituary  Letha Johnson Obit - ? - Dec 1976 Transcribed by Brian Sanders 10/14/2009Letha Johnson Dies SaturdayMrs. Letha Jane Johnson, 90, a resident of Osgood, died Saturday in the Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital.The body is at the Riggin Funeral Home at Milan where a continuous visitation will be held until 2 pm Tuesday. The body will then be taken to the Camp Ground Cemetery near Osgood for burial.Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 8, 1886, a daughter of William T and Mary Clem Waller. She was married to David Henry Johnson, who died Jan. 28, 1967.Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Owen (Luzania) Crawford of Osgood, and Mrs. Emery (Agnes) Hurt of rural Galt; two sons, Harding Johnson of Osgood, and Arthur Johnson of Trenton; two stepsons, Max Huffine Johnson of New Smyrna Beach Fla.,and Sylvester Johnson of Laclede; one sister, Mrs. A.P. (Josie) Schlarb of Trenton; one brother, Luther Waller of Humphreys; 15 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lonnie Waller, Lee Waller, and Kimberlan Waller and two stepdaughters, Elgevia Shephard and Geneva Montgomery.Letha Johnson Obit - ? - Dec 1976Transcribed by Brian Sanders 10/14/2009Letha Jane JohnsonLetha Jane Johnson, daughter of William and Mary Clem Waller, was born in Sullivan county, Mo., Jan. 8, 1886 and passed away at a Kirksville Mo. Hospital Dec. 25, 1976.She was united in marriage to David H. Johnson, who preceded her in death Jan. 28, 1967. She is also preceded by two stepdaughters and three brothers.Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Owen (Luzania) Crawford, Mrs. Emery (Agnes) Hurt, two sons Harding Johnson and Arthur Johnson, one sister Mrs. A.P. (Josie) Schlarb, one brother Luther Waller, and 15 grandchildren.The pallbearers were J.D. Gadberry, Floyd Johnson, Dean Elliott, Gayle Wendt, Harry Sampson, and Gary Reeder.The burial was in the Camp Ground Cemetery south of Osgood, at 2:30pm, Dec. 28, 1976 under the direction of the Riggen Funeral Home of Milan.  [2
