    Obituary  Sarah Milner Obit - Trenton Republic - July 21, 1939 Transcribed by Brian Sanders 10/14/2009Mrs. Sarah Milner of Osgood is Dead85 year old woman was Born and Reared in Mercer CountyMrs. Sarah Elizabeth Milner, 85 years old, died at 7 o'clock Thursday evening at her home in Osgood after an extended illness.Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Union Grove church north of Osgood conducted by the Rev. Guy Pickering. Burial will be in the cemetery there.Mrs. Milner was born March 17, 1854 in Mercer county, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Harriett Thogmartin Stinnett. She was married to James Milner who preceded her in death about 15 years ago.Nine children survive her and include Mrs. Arthur Jackson, Mrs. Belle Johnson, Mrs. Emma Phipps, and Simon Milner of Osgood, Mrs. Stella Patton of Centerville, Iowa., Ira Milner of south of Humphreys, Alabama Milner and Mrs. Hattie Owens ofCalifornia and Amos Milner of Garden City Kan. She also leaves several grandchildren and great grandchildren and two half sisters.  [6
